Contributions of NGOs in Supporting Accessibility for people With Disabilities

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the contributions of NGOs in supporting the means of accessibility for people with disabilities, and to determine the indications of the moral differences between the responses of families and officials in relation to their determination of the level of contributions of NGOs in supporting the means of accessibility for people with disabilities, and the study relied on the use of the social survey methodology with the available sample "the researcher's facilitated sample" For the families of people with disabilities benefiting from NGOs in Aswan Governorate under study, numbering (431) individuals, as well as the comprehensive social survey methodology for officials of NGOs working in the field of people with disabilities in Aswan Governorate, which is subject to study, and the number (208) individuals, and the study used a questionnaire directed to families and officials to measure the contributions of NGOs in supporting means of accessibility for people with disabilities. The results of the study showed that the level of contributions of NGOs in supporting means of accessibility for people with disabilities is high, as determined by families with an arithmetic average (2.40) and officials (2.41). While the order of officials came administrative, community, educational, digital, physical, and finally legislative. To formulate a proposed training manual from the perspective of a how-to Community Organization to activate the contributions of NGOs in supporting the means of accessibility for people with disabilities
