Abstract

                The study deals with the role of the generalist practice of social work in reducing the effects of underage marriage, and aims to determine the effects resulting from it, and the roles of generalist practice in reducing them, and to suggest conception for that. It is a descriptive study that uses social survey and questionnaire tool, and was applied in the Social Support Office on a number (36) underage wife, and concluded that the most important of these effects are not completing education, not enjoying childhood, inability to assume family responsibilities, suffering in providing independent housing, spreading destructive social values, high rates of illiteracy among members of society, and the most important roles of practicing, The public directs to officially document marriage by reaching the legal age, contribute to providing suitable job opportunities, direct the religious discourse to address the effects of underage marriage, The study suggested a conception of the roles of generalist practice to reduce the effects of underage marriage.
