The relationship of comprehensive empowerment in alleviating the severity of domestic violence for the wives of addicts in the Gaza Strip

Abstract

This study is considered one of the descriptive studies, which aims to identify the nature of the relationship between comprehensive empowerment in alleviating the severity of domestic violence for the wives of addicts in the Gaza Strip, in order to enrich the scientific research on the comprehensive empowerment of addicted women and husbands. The results shown in the previous table showed an inverse relationship with statistical significance. Between violence against women and the psychological aspect of wives, and this indicates the greater the psychological empowerment of women, the lower the violence against women and vice versa. It was also observed that there was an inverse statistically significant relationship between violence against women and the social aspect of wives, and this indicates the greater the empowerment of women from the social aspect, the lower the violence against women and vice versa. Among wives, this indicates the greater the empowerment of women from the economic side, the lower the violence against women and vice versa. It was also noted that there is no statistically significant correlation between violence against women and between the legal and political side of wives.
