Abstract

This research describes "digital transformation and achieving institutional excellence in mental health institutions" by determining the level of digital transformation in mental health institutions, which came as determined by officials in government and private institutions at a medium level, as well as determining the level of institutional excellence in mental health institutions, which was determined by officials in government and private institutions as high. Also, as well as identifying the dimensions of digital transformation most related to achieving institutional excellence in mental health institutions, which came in first place, transformational leadership , followed by training the manpower on the use of information and communication technology, then organizational culture, and finally the digital infrastructure, and the obstacles facing the use of digital transformation in achieving institutional excellence in mental health institutions as identified by officials in government institutions came in the first place, the weakness of Internet services in the hospital, while it came in the order The first, as identified by officials in private institutions, is that the hospital’s digital infrastructure is not suitable for the implementation of digital transformation in it. Proposals to activate the use of digital transformation in achieving institutional excellence in mental health institutions came in the first order, ensuring the periodic evaluation of the performance of workers and the medical team constantly, as identified by officials in government institutions While in private institutions, the necessity of coordination between the hospital and other mental health institutions in the community came in the first order.
