Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of security and the requirements of sustainable security in the Kuwaiti society from the viewpoint of employees at the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, the researcher collected the required data from a non-random sample of 100 individuals from the employees of this academy by means of a questionnaire that was distributed to them and collected from them by hand. The study was of the type of descriptive analytical studies, and it followed the method of social survey.
The study concluded that the level of security and the requirements of sustainable security were medium. The study recommended that the employees of the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences be involved in training courses related to the subject of sustainable security (in terms of definition, objectives, importance, indicators, and how to achieve...). The study also recommended increasing scientific research and studies related to the subject of sustainable security, as it was found that research and studies in this field are scarce.
