Abstract

This study aimed to examine the correlation between psychological stress and family adjustment in families of children with autism spectrum disorder, and to identify the extent of individual differences in psychological stress and family adjustment among families of children with autism spectrum disorder according to the type of child (male - female), and to identify the extent of individual differences. In psychological stress and family adjustment in families of children with autism spectrum disorder according to the level of education (high - average - below average), and to identify the extent of individual differences in psychological stress and family adjustment among families of children with autism spectrum disorder according to the variable of sex (fathers - mothers), and to predict The level of family compatibility among families of children with autism spectrum disorder through the dimensions of psychological stress, and the study used the psychological stress scale for families of children with autism spectrum disorder prepared by Nisreen Nabih Melhem (2014), as well as the scale of family compatibility among families of children with autism spectrum disorder prepared by the researcher Salah El-Din Mahmoud Mohamed, 2016, and the study proved all its hypotheses.
