Abstract

      This study belongs to quasi-experimental studies, by identifying the effect of the independent variable, which is a training program for families with Down syndrome to develop the life skills of their children from the perspective of social group work, and in line with the type of study. The current study includes the following tools: a measure of life skills for families of children with Down syndrome (Syndrome prepared by the researcher), and an analysis of the content of the group's periodic reports. This study aimed to achieve the following main objective: "Development of life skills for children with Down syndrome through a training program for their families from A social group work perspective, and a set of sub-goals emerge from this goal: - Developing self-care skills for children with Down syndrome through the use of a training program for their families from a social group work perspective. - Developing social skills for children with Down syndrome through the use of a training program for their families.
