Abstract

               Hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder affects the development of the child and his family as well as the surrounding community. Taking care of a child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is one of the most difficult educational tasks for parents, especially the mother, he study aimed to test the effectiveness of using the life model in social group work in alleviating the life pressures of mothers of children with hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, The concepts of the study were defined in the concept of the life model in the way of social group work and the concept of life pressures. The study belongs to the style of semi experimental studies, depending on the experimental method, The study was applied to (20) single mothers of children with hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in the Women's Association in Assiut Governorate, and it relied on the life stress scale prepared by the researcher and analyzing the content of the periodic reports of the experimental group meetings, The study concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between the use of the life model in the social group work and the reduction of life pressures (family, social, psychological, professional) for mothers of children with hyperactivity disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
