Self-efficacy and its relationship to the emotional empathy of the physically disabled

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and emotional empathy of the physically disabled and a sample of (74) disabled people was selected, and the number of males (47), and the number of females (27) , the self- efficacy scale, and the emotional empathy scale were applied. The study reached a set of results, where it was found that the level of self- efficacy of the physically disabled is average, and also showed that the level of emotional empathy of the physically disabled is average, and there is a positive correlation statistically significant between self-efficacy and emotional empathy of the physically disabled, and the study also showed that there are statistically significant differences between males and females on the scale of self- efficacy as a whole and the differences were in favor of females, and there are statistically significant differences between males and females on the scale of emotional empathy and the differences were in favor of females.
