Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of the individual service specialist in alleviating the life stresses of the flood victims, Where the results of the study showed that the economic pressures were represented in the cracking and collapse of houses, the lack of financial compensation, the significant decrease in income, the high prices, with the deteriorating family conditions and the family losing all its possessions, Psychological pressures were represented in the spread of anxiety, loss of confidence in others, inability to balance psychologically, fear of the future, emotion and frustration, The health pressures were manifested in the spread of various diseases, the difficulty in obtaining appropriate treatment, the extreme slowness in providing first aid, and the lack of continuous follow-up of the effects of the aftermath of the floods, Social pressures were represented in the lack of responsibility, the disappearance of the spirit of affection and cooperation, the feeling of isolation, and the emergence of wrong social habits within the affected area.
