Abstract

This paper demonstrates the importance and necessity for all employees of the social work profession to practice their profession, whether they are at any scientific social work level or degree, as professional practice has become an urgent and indispensable necessity, as there is no way to develop the profession, except through Professional practice on the part of its employees, as the profession has been since its inception and its recognition,.
Classifying the profession’s employees into academics only who do not practice professional work, and field practitioners, most of whom have a bachelor’s degree, is a very dangerous matter, which seriously harms the profession on both the theoretical and practical levels, as this greatly weakens the return of the academic education programs for the profession, as well as the practice programs. In the field, where the practitioner with a bachelor’s degree sees that his academic professor does not practice what he is required to do, in addition to the weakness of the field education programs for students of colleges and institutes of social work.
Accordingly, this paper was concerned with drawing up a regulation for the establishment of university social work centers in colleges and institutes of social work similar to what is being done in university hospitals in medical colleges, by receiving and assisting professional work units (individuals or families - groups - organizations or societies) or their representatives Within the professional work units at the center or through professional work with them in their different environments.
