Abstract

The study aimed to identify the impact of awareness of the culture of volunteering related to development issues in strengthening the national identity of university youth, and to identify the most important obstacle factors to spreading awareness of the culture of volunteering, and then reaching the necessary proposals to raise awareness of the culture of volunteering, where the descriptive survey method was used and the study sample was A random number of (209) young men at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, and a questionnaire prepared by the researcher was applied to them.
Descriptive and analytical statistics were used in analyzing the study data, and the results of the quantitative study revealed that the highest percentage of (29.9%) The respondents expressed their interest in the issues of persons with disabilities for volunteer work programs within the framework of student activities, developing the skills and capabilities of university youth wishing to join voluntary and charitable groups, and recommended the establishment of joint programs between various government programs and civil institutions at the level of the Kingdom,.
