Patriotism and its relationship in education and media programs (Applied study in sociology)

Abstract

We should ask:What do we need to activate the role of schools and the media to revive patriotism And what do we need to refine the impact of external media on the political mobilization of citizens This field study was conducted on a new generation of university graduates, from various scientific disciplines, and from various Saudi environments.the study seeks to determine the role of schools in Saudi society and local and Gulf ( government ) satellite channels in strengthening national identity, rejecting discontent and prejudice against the existing social and political system, and what is the relationship and correlation of national identity with the individual and scientific characteristics of members of society. The study concluded that the main sources of education in society Saudi Arabia (schools – The study revealed that schools and local television may be in a permanent state of protection against external non-governmental media that sends society members a culture of doubt, disappointment and despair, and then deviation in the concept of Homeland through the age stages that the individual is going through, the imbalance with patriotism has nothing to do with a specific age, or a certain age period, and has nothing to do with a specific scientific specialty or specific colleges, and this study came up with suggestions that support national security in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will directly reflect on psychological and Social Security in general, and all this sets the stage for drafting and proposing A national education strategy for future generations.
