Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of commitment of social workers to apply the code of ethics for social work during their work with individual cases, The study used the social survey on a sample of (284) school social workers, The study showed that: the majority of the study sample did not study the code of ethics during their university studies with a percentage of (69.31%(, The majority of the study sample did not attend workshops or training courses on the code of ethics with a percentage of (78.2%(, The majority of the study sample perceive that it is necessary to teach the code of ethics during university studies with a percentage of (97.9%,(, The majority of the study sample perceive that it is necessary to organize training courses or workshops on the code of ethics during the work period of social workers in institutions with a percentage of (97.9%),.The largest percentage from the study sample (66.2%) perceive that some social workers do not adhere to the professional ethics of social work, The level of commitment of social workers to moral responsibility towards clients is high with a weighted average (2.6), towards colleagues is high, with a weighted average (2.7),and towards the institutions of practice is an average level with a weighted mean (2.3).
