Abstract

Social programs and projects are an essential means in the development of societies to face their problems, And moving it from one situation to a better one, whether it was done at the local or national level, The programs and projects are based on a set of methods, tools, tests and scientific foundations that work on accurate knowledge to evaluate the success or failure of the development project, The current study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of development programs and projects in rural communities in the light of the Decent Life initiative, This study belongs to the style of evaluative studies, as it relied on the social survey method by the sample method, The scale was used as a tool for collecting data and information, The results of the study concluded that the most important infrastructure programs and projects for a decent life are roof work, restoration of the homes of the poor, and the establishment of an integrated services complex in the village, The most important economic programs and projects are providing assistance to girls about to get married, training girls in manual labor, The most important educational programs and projects are the maintenance and restoration of some schools in the village, providing schools (primary - middle - secondary), and strengthening classes for students, The most important health programs and projects are implementing health insurance and integrated health care programs, providing a private medical clinic, and renovating and replacing rural health units.
