A paradigm for enhancing social values in social media users

Abstract

The study aimed to develop a proposed perspective to support social values among female secondary school students who use social networks program in East of Riyadh city , and explore the most prominent social networks programs that have negative or positive effects on social values of its users from the point view of the study sample individuals, and identify the impact of social networks programs on the social values of high school female students (the value of social responsibility - the value of family Cohesion - the value of national affiliation - the value of science and work) , In order to achieve these aims, the study was based on social survey method. A questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data. The research was applied on 6 secondary government schools on a sample which consists of 150 female students, they have been selected by Purposive way, this study consider as a descriptive study.The study concluded to a set of results from which: The most prominent social networking programs that would result in negative effects on the social values of its users is LinkedIn and Flickr, followed by Telegram, Tumblr then Facebook, programs that result in positive effects on the social values of its users were Twitter and Snap Chat , followed by Whats App , YouTube and Instagram, And that the impact of social communication programs degree on the value of social responsibility and family cohesion was a medium degree, its impact on the value of national .
