Abstract

This study aimed at achieving the following objectives by determining the impact of the social dimensions of gifts on kinship relations in social aspects, determining the impact of the social dimensions of gifts on kinship relations in cultural aspects, and determining the impact of the social dimensions of gifts on kinship relations in economic aspects.
As this study is considered one of the descriptive-analytical studies, and in light of the nature of the study, its objectives, questions and information to be obtained, and after reviewing the scientific research literature and its methods, as well as reviewing previous studies in the field of research, the researcher considers the appropriateness of the descriptive-analytical method, to achieve her goals; because it is interested in studying the phenomenon as it exists in reality, by collecting information and data about it, classifying, organizing and expressing in order to reach conclusions or generalizations that help in the development of the reality being studied.
The results also indicated the variety of forms of gifts with which women participate in social events for relatives, namely financial amounts, and the results also showed that the motives for choosing and presenting gifts to relatives on occasions are (Customs and traditions), and the results also indicated that the members of the study sample agree to some extent on the impact of the social dimensions of gifts on kinship relations in social aspects.
