The study aimed to determine the roles of the social worker as a general practitioner in educating mothers of preparatory school students about the dangers of electronic games. The study concepts were defined in (the concept of the roles of the social worker, educating mothers, and the dangers of electronic games), which a descriptive analytical study is based on the comprehensive social survey approach for specialists in the Urban Administration. Educational survey (45) and a social survey with a simple random sample of mothers (100 mothers). The study concluded that the social worker plays his roles with the mothers’ group from their point of view to educate them about the dangers of electronic games at a rate of (81.67%), while his role with the student group was at a rate of (81.67%). (77.33%), and there are many difficulties facing him, represented by the large administrative burden assigned to the social worker within the school, the social workers’ lack of knowledge of all the risks associated with electronic games, and the reluctance of many mothers to participate in awareness seminars on the dangers of electronic games.
