Employing modern technologies in shaping aesthetics Children's theater Plays An analytical study of the National Theater for Children’s Plays in the 2023 season

Abstract

The theatrical performance space is established from several decisive and basic components that begin with the text and then the presentation elements: decoration, music, makeup, light, color, mass, size, line, and space, to other audio-visual presentation components, which constitute the scenography space and the speech of the presentation. Therefore, the research goes into identifying the use of modern technology in shaping the aesthetics of children’s theater performances, which has made today’s theatrical show a more familiar, beautiful and dazzling show. It is coming from the space of technology to the space of theatrical performance through optimal investment by theater workers to form a theatrical performance space. More aesthetic, more influential, and more enjoyable for the recipient. The researcher started from the extreme importance of modern technology in shaping the aesthetics of children’s theater performances as a modern artistic, aesthetic, intellectual and technical means to communicate the subject in an integrated manner, in addition to the fact that it is closely linked to the creative directorial and creative design vision, and presents various models with multiple connotations in terms of their transmission and push to the wheel of relations. Represented by clarifying the forms of scenography and dramatic conflict according to the multiple motives of directors and designers. According to this, the research came in three chapters:
Chapter One: (Methodological Framework) It contained: The research problem and question: Has modern technology supported children’s theatrical performances and added audio/visual visual aesthetics to it? The importance of the research, including Modern technology has a major role in the development of the implementation of the theatrical scene, which serves the idea of ​​theatrical work and helps creativity. The research objectives, including identifying the aesthetic space of modern technology in children’s theater performances. Limits of research and definition of terms.
Chapter Two: (Theoretical Framework) It contained three sections: 1- The interconnected relationship of dazzlement and beauty in philosophy and art. 2- Modern technology. 3- Modern technology and its added aesthetic capabilities in children’s theater performances.
The chapter then concluded with the indicators resulting from the theoretical framework.
The third chapter (the applied framework) contained two sections:
1- Research procedures, population and research sample that included three theatrical performances throughout the theatrical season. They are: (Snow White - Frozen - Beauty and the Beast). 2- Results and conclusions, then sources and references.
