The Use of Developmental Model in Social Group Work method and Developing the Awareness of University Youth about The Green Culture

Abstract

Green culture is a term given to an individual’s possession of cognitive and emotional behaviors through which he can interact with the environment in a correct and non-negative manner, by making the task of protecting the environment the responsibility of every individual in society, and the sustainable and continuous protection and care of the natural system, with the aim of maintaining stability within society. This research aims to Test the effectiveness of the use of developmental model in social group work method and developing the awareness of university youth about the green culture, this is through developing the cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects of university youth through green culture. The research seeks to test a main hypotheses stating, “There is a statistically significant relationship between the use of developmental model in social group work method and developing the awareness of university youth about The green culture, and this research belongs to Experimental studies, and the research relied on the experimental approach, where it was applied to two groups, one experimental and the other controlling, and the number of each group was (15) individuals. And the professional intervention program was applied at the Faculty of Social Work, Assiut University, and the results of the research the validity of all research hypotheses and thus all research objectives are achieved.
