Abstract

The current study aimed to test the effectiveness of using an institutional capacity building strategy from the perspective of generalist practice of social work to develop youth capabilities towards entrepreneurship, This study belonged to the type of studies measuring the outcome of professional intervention. A quasi-experimental method was used, and the human field was represented by (20) youth who regularly attend the Abu Tahoun Youth Center affiliated with the Awlad Saqr Youth Administration in Sharkia Governorate (10 control group and 10 experimental group). The most important results of the study were: 1. The validity of the main hypothesis, which was: There was a positive, statistically significant relationship between the effectiveness of using the institutional capacity building strategy from the perspective of the generalist practice of social work and developing youth capabilities towards entrepreneurship, 2. The validity of the following sub-hypotheses: a. The existence of a positive, statistically significant relationship between the use of an institutional capacity building strategy from the perspective of generalist practice of social work and developing youth capabilities towards social entrepreneurship, b. The existence of a positive, statistically significant relationship between the use of an institutional capacity building strategy from the perspective of generalist practice of social work and the development of youth capabilities towards home business entrepreneurship, c. The existence of a positive, statistically significant relationship between the use of an institutional capacity building strategy from the perspective of generalist practice of social work and developing youth capabilities towards digital entrepreneurship, At the end of study
