Abstract

The study aimed to monitor the reality of the challenges facing the application of the simulation model in spreading the culture of dealing with crises and disasters among university youth, identifying proposals for activating the application of the simulation model in spreading the culture of dealing with crises and disasters among university youth. It is considered one of the descriptive analytical studies that depend on the social survey   method. Comprehensive study of the members of the crisis management units in the faculties of Assiut University, their number reached (71). The results revealed the most important challenges associated with applying the simulation of the work environment with the real environment, the difficulty of specifying simulation programs that are compatible with the real environment of the unit, and the most important challenges related to human resources are the need for specialists with experience and skills. Certain, and the most important challenges related to material resources are the lack of financial capabilities necessary for laboratory equipment to provide a simulation environment, and the most important challenges related to coordination are the lack of provision for building an information network with other bodies assigned to manage the crisis, and I reached the most important proposed mechanisms from the perspective of community organization to activate the application of the simulation model in spreading a culture Dealing with crises and disasters among university youth.
