The main objective of the study is to: Test the effectiveness of professional intervention using the cognitive-behavioral approach from the perspective of social group work in reducing the severity of school violence among students, as the study seeks to test a main hypothesis, which is: It is expected that there are statistically significant differences between professional intervention using the cognitive-behavioral approach from the perspective of social group work and reducing the severity of school violence among students, and the sub-hypotheses are: (reducing the severity of violence directed towards oneself, reducing the severity of violence directed towards others, and reducing the severity of violence directed towards school property), The study adopted the experimental approach, using tools (school violence scale, and periodic reports), and it was applied to a sample of students from Tahla Preparatory School for Boys, consisting of (15) students, and the results of the study proved the validity of the main hypothesis and its sub-hypotheses.
