The Relationship between Academic Procrastination and Motivation Achievement from a Social work Perspective among Female Students at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University
This study aims to determine the relationship between academic procrastination and achievement motivation from the perspective of social service among female graduate students at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. Several sub-objectives emerge from the main objective, which are as follows: Determining the reality of academic procrastination among female graduate students at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. Determining the reality of achievement motivation among female graduate students at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. To identify the most important obstacles to achievement motivation among female graduate students at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. The results of the study showed that the overall average score (2.45) for the axis (the reality of academic procrastination among female graduate students in the College of Social Sciences at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University) indicated that the students agreed that there is academic procrastination among them, as well as the overall average score (2.56) for the axis (the reality of achievement motivation among female graduate students in the College of Social Sciences at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University) indicated that the students agreed that there is a motivation to achieve among them, and the overall average score (2.67) for the axis (the most important obstacles to achievement motivation among female graduate students at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University) indicated that the students agreed that there are obstacles to achievement motivation among them. The results of the study also showed the existence of a statistically significant inverse relationship, at the level (0.05), between academic procrastination and the total degree of achievement motivation; The Pearson correlation coefficient value reached (-0.68), and the previous result indicates that increasing the rate of motivation to achieve among female students contributes to decreasing the level of academic procrastination, and vice versa.
