The study aims to test the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy in alleviating family pressures for mothers of children with diabetes. This study belongs to quasi-experimental studies, and used the experimental method on a sample of (20) mothers of children with diabetes, divided into (10) experimental cases and (10) Control cases, using interview tools and the family stress scale. The results proved that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre-measurement for the control and experimental groups on the family stress scale for mothers of children with diabetes, and there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre- and post-measurement for the cases of the control group on the family stress scale for mothers of children with diabetes, There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the, difference rates between the pre- and post-measurements of the control and experimental groups in favor of the experimental group’s variance on the scale of family pressures for mothers of children with diabetes. The results proved that, there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre-measurement for the control and experimental groups on the family stress scale for mothers of children with diabetes, and there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre- and post-measurement for the cases of the control group on the family stress scale for mothers of children with diabetes.
