Abstract

This study aimed to identify the leadership skills of social workers in hospitals, the challenges they face, and the effectiveness of available training methods for developing these skills. To achieve these objectives, the descriptive-analytical method was employed, using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 138 social workers in various hospitals in the Kingdom. The results showed a need to improve certain leadership skills, such as conflict management and flexibility, in addition to addressing challenges like lack of professional guidance and bureaucratic obstacles. Based on these findings, the study proposed a framework focused on enhancing continuous training, reducing administrative barriers, and providing guidance from experienced leaders to develop the leadership abilities and improve the efficiency of social workers.
