Abstract

The research aims to identify some of the components related to the art education teacher in the State of Kuwait in light of modern trends in education and familiarity with general educational trends and professional specialization. The purpose of evaluating educational and artistic trends is to stand on their reality and find solutions for them by identifying the theories in teaching art education according to modern trends. The research is also limited to analyzing the art education curriculum to stand on the most important components of the art education teacher. The current research addresses some of the important components of the teacher in order to advance them according to professional competencies and what reality produces of modern theories and sciences. The results of the study reached the following:Results related to the components of the art education teacher, which are as follows:- Creativity and innovation, technology. As for the results related to the theories of contemporary trends in teaching art education, which are as follows:- Constructive learning theory, multiple intelligences theory, cooperative learning theory, project-based learning theory.
