Community Dialogue as a Mechanism in Planning to Empower Girls in Egyptian Society

Abstract

The current study seeks to achieve several goals: determining the reality of community dialogue in the national initiative for the empowerment of girls in Egyptian society, determining the level of community dialogue, determining the relationship between community dialogue and planning for the empowerment of girls, identifying obstacles facing the contributions of community dialogue in planning for the empowerment of girls, identifying proposals to activate the contributions of community dialogue in planning for the empowerment of girls in Egyptian society. This study belongs to the pattern of descriptive studies, and was applied in (18) Egyptian governorates that participated in the implementation of the national initiative for the empowerment of girls (Dawwie), and represents the human field of study in the Comprehensive Social Survey of participants who were trained in community dialogue activities as trainers and carried out community dialogue activities in the initiative in the different governorates of the Republic number (90), and the study used a questionnaire for participants about community dialogue as a mechanism in planning the empowerment of girls in the Egyptian society. The results of the study proved the validity of the main assumption of the study, which is that" there is a direct statistically significant relationship between community dialogue and planning for the empowerment of girls in Egyptian society, " and at the end of the study, the researcher presented a proposed future vision to enhance the contributions of community dialogue as a mechanism in planning for the empowerment of girls in Egyptian society.
