The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Developing Group Work Studies

Abstract

      The current study aimed to determine the reality of scientific research and professional practice of group work method in light of Egypt's Vision 2030 by analyzing the content of master's and doctoral theses in the Department of Group Work at the Faculty of Social Work at Assiut University (Egypt), which were approved after the launch of Egypt's Vision 2030 in the period from 2016 to 2020. The researcher used the content analysis guide for master's and doctoral theses, as the sample of the current study amounted to (29) theses. The results indicated that most of the theses followed the descriptive approach using the questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data. The researcher identified the most important issues addressed by master's and doctoral theses in the Department of Group Work according to the objectives of the axis of innovation, knowledge and scientific research in Egypt's Vision 2030, and developed a proposed vision for employing artificial intelligence techniques in scientific research and professional practice of group work.
