Technological Infrastructure as a Mechanism for Achieving Institutional Excellence at Telecom Egypt

Technological infrastructure is essential for achieving institutional excellence within the Egyptian Telecommunications Company (ETC), as technology serves as the primary driver for institutional transformation and development. By adopting modern technological trends and developing a flexible and advanced infrastructure, the company can achieve sustainable excellence and efficiency, reinforcing the crucial role of technological necessity in steering organizational growth and success.
This study aims to analyze the role of technological infrastructure in supporting and achieving institutional excellence within the Egyptian Telecommunications Company, one of the largest service organizations in Egypt's telecommunications sector. The study focused on the contribution of both physical infrastructure elements (such as devices, networks, software, and security systems) and human infrastructure elements (such as skills, knowledge, experience, and training) in enhancing institutional performance, improving service quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This is a descriptive study that adopted a social survey methodology. Data was collected through an electronic questionnaire directed at a sample of employees from the company. The results showed a strong positive relationship between the development of technological infrastructure and the achievement of institutional excellence, The study also proposed a plan to improve the technological infrastructure of Telecom Egypt in alignment with the latest technological standards, contributing to enhanced organizational performance and the achievement of sustainable institutional excellence.
