Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a selective, cognitive, behavioral program to face the social problems of the distinguished mathematical. The study is of the experimental type, through a pre-post experiment, using one experimental group that includes (10) outstanding athletes. The study was conducted at the Zagazig Sports Secondary School in Sharqia Governorate. The study used the social problems scale for outstanding athletes as a tool for collecting data. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement and post-measurement of the experimental group in favor of the post-measurement at a significance level of (0.01), which confirms the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral elective program to confront the social problems of outstanding athletes.
