Abstract

The world is rapidly moving towards technological advancements, Artificial intelligence-based technologies are emerging as one of the most important tools contributing to improving the quality of life in general, and for people with disabilities in particular, This is achieved by providing innovative solutions to daily challenges that contribute to enhancing individuals' independence, enabling them to achieve their ambitions, and overcoming the obstacles they face. The study aimed to identify the obstacles to the use of artificial intelligence in the field of disability from the perspective of general practice in social work, The most important findings were that physical, technological, and cognitive obstacles are the most significant obstacles facing the application of artificial intelligence in working with people with disabilities.
