This study aimed to identify the obstacles that limit the development of social capital among volunteers in civil society organizations. To achieve the objectives of the study, the social survey method was used, through a simple random sample of young volunteers consisting of (308) male and female volunteers in civil society organizations in the city of Riyadh during the year. )2023( The presence of obstacles that limit the development of social capital among volunteers, with a percentage of (64.61), and the obstacles varied in this study between personal obstacles specific to individual volunteers, with a percentage of (61.30), and the percentage of administrative and organizational obstacles specific to associations reached (34.68), while the percentage of societal obstacles that limit the development of social capital among volunteers reached. )36.18(
