The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of anti-smoking and drug group in achieving its goals in secondary schools by determining its ability to satisfy the basic needs of their members, its ability to confront students' problems, the extent to which they take into account humanitarian considerations when presenting activities, the extent to which the procedures for participating in group activities are easy and simple, its ability to bring about change in the behavioral patterns of their members, and the extent to which the group's activities are consistent with their members' expectations. This study is one of the evaluative studies that relied on the use of a comprehensive social survey method for social workers in secondary schools affiliated with the Fashn Education Administration in Beni Suef Governorate (41) individuals. The study relied on the questionnaire tool in collecting data on the effectiveness of anti-smoking and drug groups in achieving their goals in secondary schools. The study concluded that the effectiveness of anti-smoking and drug groups in achieving their goals in secondary schools is high. It also became clear that there are differences between social workers in determining the effectiveness of anti-smoking and drug groups in achieving their goals in secondary schools according to demographic variables.
