Abstract
       This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a program based on the Selective Approach in Social Casework to improve coping strategies for occupational stress among social workers in intellectual education schools. The researcher applied the measurement tool to male and female social workers in intellectual education schools in Gharbia Governorate. A purposive sample of 40 social workers who met the inclusion criteria was selected and equally divided into two groups: 20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group. The findings of the study indicated a strong impact of the professional intervention program—based on the Selective Approach in Social Casework—on improving the level of occupational stress among social workers in intellectual education schools.
