Administrative creativity and support of planning decision-making in government institutions in the light of Egypt's Vision 2030

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of administrative creativity in government institutions, determine the level of planning decision-making in government institutions, determine the most influential dimensions of administrative creativity in supporting planning decision-making in government institutions, determine the difficulties facing administrative creativity in supporting planning decision-making in government institutions, and attempt to reach proposed planning mechanisms to activate the contributions of administrative creativity in supporting planning decision-making in government institutions. This study is a descriptive study that aims to determine the relationship between administrative creativity (as an independent variable) and its support for planning decision-making (as a dependent variable) within government institutions in light of the directions and objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030. The study relied on the scientific approach using the comprehensive social survey method for officials at the Information and Decision Support Center in Assiut Governorate, as well as the General Administration of Information Systems and Digital Transformation at Assiut University, numbering (46) individuals. The study tools were represented in a questionnaire for officials, and the results of the study led to the acceptance of the main hypothesis of the study and its sub-hypotheses, which means "there is a direct relationship with statistical significance between administrative creativity and planning decision-making in institutions." Governmental", and the study proposed planning mechanisms to activate the contributions of administrative creativity in supporting planning decision-making in government institutions.
