Abstract

Egypt faces many difficulties in various aspects, especially in terms of providing appropriate human living conditions for all individuals, achieving economic, social and technological progress, and reaching fair development. Since the most important problems facing Egyptian society are the rapid increase in population growth, which far exceeds the rates of development, which resulted in a high rate of population density,
Therefore, it was necessary to follow a conscious policy to reduce the population density in cities that were crowded with people, through the establishment of newly developed urban communities, which aims to establish urban pillars to lift the burden on the current urban structures, as well as to provide a suitable living for the communities that need it most.
Therefore, residents of newly established urban communities aspire to satisfy their various needs, such as their social, economic, health, and educational needs. With the multiplicity and diversity of these needs, and the limited resources on the other hand, it is therefore necessary to estimate the needs of families in newly established urban communities through scientific methods that contribute to satisfying these needs and finding solutions and proposals to confront the obstacles that limit their satisfaction.
