Training needs to enhance the professional and social competence of social workers working with university students from perspective in social casework

The study aimed to identify the required needs (cognitive, skill and value) necessary in the professional and social needs of social workers working with university youth in light of achieving the basic development goals of Egypt 2030, Identifying the necessary proposals to overcome these obstacles and identifying the necessary training needs to enhance the professional and social competence of social workers working with university students in light of achieving the sustainable development goals of Egypt's Vision 2030, This study belongs to the descriptive studies, and it relied on the scientific method using the comprehensive social survey method for social specialists working in youth care centers at Assiut University, numbering (80) social specialists, and the questionnaire tool applied to social specialists working in youth care centers at Assiut University was used The study concluded that the level of cognitive needs necessary to enhance the professional and social competence of social specialists working with university youth is high, as the arithmetic mean reached (2.57), and the level of skill needs necessary to enhance the professional and social competence of social specialists working with university youth is high, as the mean reached (2.58), The level of value needs and social competence of social specialists working with university youth is high, as the arithmetic mean reached (2.57). The level of proposals necessary to overcome obstacles to determining the training needs necessary to enhance the professional and social competence of social specialists working with university youth is high, as the arithmetic mean reached (2.55). ..
