Abstract

The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of the "Tour wa Ghair" program in eradicating digital illiteracy among youth. This was achieved by measuring the ability of the "Tour wa Ghair" program to (provide youth with new digital knowledge, provide youth with new digital experiences and skills, modify youth's digital attitudes, conform to youth's digital expectations, solve youth's digital problems, and facilitate youth access to the "Tour wa Ghair" program's services). This study relied on the use of a social survey method using a sample of youth benefiting from the "Tour wa Ghair" program at digital community centers in youth centers in Luxor Governorate, numbering (212) individuals. The results of the study demonstrated that the level of effectiveness of the "Tour wa Ghair" program in eradicating digital illiteracy among youth is high. "There are statistically significant differences between youth responses according to some demographic variables (gender/marital status/place of residence) with regard to their determination of the level of effectiveness of the "Tour wa Ghair" program in eradicating digital illiteracy among youth." There is a statistically significant difference between youth responses according to some demographic variables (age groups/educational qualifications/job) with regard to their determination of the level of effectiveness of the "Tour wa Ghair" program. And change in digital literacy among youth.
