Human development reports as a mechanism for future social welfare policies in Egypt

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the objectives of the current social care policies, determine the issues of current social care policies, the areas of current social care policies, identify the categories of interest of current social care policies, and the parties involved in determining them, determine future social care policies, and translate future social care policies into programs and projects. Determining mechanisms to follow up their implementation, determining the expected return from implementing future social welfare policies in human development reports in Egypt, leading to defining planning mechanisms for implementing future social welfare policies.
This study is one of the descriptive studies, and it relied on the case study approach, and the case here is the human development reports in Egypt, and the data collection tools were represented in a guide to analyze the content of the human development reports during the period (1994-2021), and the results of the study proved the validity of its assumptions. The study found planning mechanisms for the implementation of future social care policies in Egypt, namely: building and developing the capabilities of human cadres in all areas of the implementation of care policies, preparing plans to improve the implementation of social care policies, building a monitoring, follow-up and evaluation system for social care policies, activating the role of development partners in implementing social welfare policies.
