Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of social support in alleviating the problems faced by mothers of children with type 1 diabetes. The study was conducted on a non-probability sample using a snowball method and its size (39 items). The type of study was a descriptive study using the social survey method. The results revealed a positive, statistically significant relationship between social support with its dimensions used in this study (emotional support - performance support - informational support) and reducing the problems faced by mothers of children with type 1 diabetes, as the study confirmed that social support has a major role In alleviating the problems faced by mothers of children with type 1 diabetes.This study aimed to identify the role of social support in alleviating the problems faced by mothers of children with type 1 diabetes.
