Abstract

               The need for electronic volunteering arose as a result of the spread of infectious epidemic diseases such as the Covid-19 pandemic, which affected daily life in an unprecedented way. Among the things that were affected by this pandemic were volunteer activities and civil participation, and due to the social divergence measures imposed by the pandemic, this led to postponement or cancellation. Such activities in their traditional form, which led to thinking of a way to help the continuation of charitable activities and events without interruption, and then the need for electronic or virtual volunteering appeared. The study aims to clarify the role of electronic volunteering in building the capacities of NGOs, The concepts of the study were identified in (the concept of electronic volunteering, the concept of capacity building), This study belongs to the type of descriptive studies that depend on the social survey methodology in a comprehensive enumeration method for the employees of the Misr El-Mahrousa Baladi Association, whose number is (60) single, Using a questionnaire form titled The Role of Electronic Volunteering in Building the Capacity of Non-Governmental Associations, the study concluded that the level of contribution of electronic volunteering in building the administrative capacity of civil associations is high with an arithmetic average of (2.53), and it also found that the level of contribution of electronic volunteering in building the administrative capacity of civil associations is high with an average My account (2.54).
