Abstract

Social work education institutions were greatly affected during the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic، which led to a clear disturbance in their normal or normal educational process، which led to the suspension of studies in them in some periods، so that there are a number of great and formidable challenges imposed by the living reality that stands in the way In front of social work education institutions in achieving their goals. This required her to work hard and tirelessly on the part of those in charge of the social work profession to find ways and put in place quick and safe mechanisms and alternatives that are compatible with the nature of the current stage to mitigate the severity of the spread of the new Corona virus pandemic on the future of social work education. Therefore، the current study tended to monitor the challenges of social work education in light of the spread of the Corona virus pandemic and the mechanisms to mitigate it. This study aims to achieve the main objective of identifying the challenges of social work education in light of the spread of the COVID-19 and mitigation mechanisms, and the main objective emanates from the sub-objectives as follows: 1. Monitoring the challenges of social work education in light of the spread of the COVID-19 from the point of view of social work faculty members. 2. Monitoring the challenges of social work education in light of the spread of the COVID-19 from the point of view of social work students. 3. Propose mechanisms to alleviate the challenges of Social Work Education from the point of view of the teaching staff. It belongs to the pattern of descriptive analytical studies that aim to describe and analyze the phenomenon in all its dimensions, and in line with the type of the current study, the study relied on the social survey method.this method was chosen because it can reach more truthful results through a comprehensive inventory of all faculty members and their assistants at the Higher Institute of social service in Kafr Saqr - Sharqiya, numbering (39) faculty members, as well as a deliberate sample of social service students at the Institute in various grades, a total of (90) students, and the study answered all its questions.
