Management of small and medium enterprises and their role in achieving sustainable development A field study

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of managing small and medium enterprises in economic development, and to reveal the role of managing small and medium enterprises in achieving sustainable development, To achieve these goals, the study relied on the use of the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire tool was applied to a random sample of (189) young people who benefited from medium and small projects. The results showed the role of small and medium enterprises in achieving sustainable development by improving the economic level of youth, and eliminating unemployment because it represents the last resort for those who do not have the opportunity to work in the formal sector, and the largest source of creation and provision of real, permanent and diversified job opportunities, and small industries represent the basic infrastructure For large projects, the most important tributaries of the economic and social development process, and finally the exploitation of boys as assistants in some work instead of turning them into energies that harm society
