Training needs for social workers working with youth groups (A study applied to youth centers in Cairo Governorate)

Abstract

The current study seeks to determine the training needs of social workers working with youth groups. It is a descriptive and analytical research. It attempts to answer the main question،  “What are the training needs of social workers working with youth groups?” through several sub-questions.
The research aimed to identify the cognitive needs of social workers working with youth groups،  the skill needs of social workers working with youth groups،  the value needs of social workers working with youth groups،  identifying the obstacles facing the professional performance of social workers working with youth groups،  and identifying proposals to activate the professional performance of social workers. Working with youth groups،  the results reached a set of recommendations.
