The Role of Administrative Empowerment in Achieving Institutional Excellence for Elderly Care Organizations

Abstract

Although many studies have highlighted the positive advantages achieved by empowerment, “many organizations still lack a clear vision for this concept” and how to apply it in their departments, and do not realize the benefits that are reflected on workers and the extent of their sense of job security, and there are still some managers.
Organizations are not only required to achieve the best performance, but rather to excel in performance as a necessity in order to survive and continue, in order to achieve the best and distinguished performance, and this happens through empowering employees, as administrative empowerment is considered one of the basic elements affecting administrative and institutional effectiveness, and therefore it has targeted This descriptive study - identifying the role of administrative empowerment in achieving institutional excellence for elderly care organizations in Cairo Governorate, through testing a set of hypotheses, which were applied to a single (92) sample of workers and officials in those organizations. The study concluded that the main hypotheses of the study and conclusion were valid. With a set of recommendations that may benefit employees of these organizations in making better use of administrative empowerment that contributes to achieving institutional excellence for elderly care organizations.
