Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of requirements of non-governmental organizations to support volunteer initiatives. This study belongs to the descriptive studies pattern, and it relied on the comprehensive social survey approach for officials and workers in non-governmental organizations, numbering (87) individuals. The researcher applied a questionnaire form to the officials, and the results of the study proved that the level of requirements (administrative, informational, financial, training, and program management requirements) is high. There is also a statistically significant direct relationship at a significance level (0.01) between the number of years of experience of officials in the field of work and their identification of the requirements of non-governmental organizations to support volunteer initiatives as a whole. There is no statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables of officials and their identification of the requirements of non-governmental organizations to support volunteer initiatives. This means that the requirements that must be available in non-governmental organizations to support volunteer initiatives do not differ according to some demographic variables of officials (gender, age, and educational qualifications). There is a statistically significant direct relationship at a significance level (0.01) between the requirements of non-governmental organizations to support volunteer initiatives.
