Scientific research coupled with application in the Egyptian reality by focusing on the problems and needs of the Egyptian citizen is one of the goals of Egypt Vision 2030 and its means of achieving its goals. Research partnership is one of the most important means through which the university focuses on achieving its goals in serving and developing society. It is also a means for civil society organizations to address issues of interest and develop their services on a scientific basis. Therefore, this study came with the aim of identifying the requirements for achieving research partnership between the university and civil society organizations in light of Egypt Vision 2030 by identifying the requirements (cognitive, administrative, material, technical, and legal) to achieve this partnership. This study belongs to the descriptive studies pattern using the social survey method with a sample applied to 257 individuals from officials in civil society organizations and faculty members at Assiut University. The most important thing it reached were some proposals through which research partnership between the university and civil society organizations can be achieved, which were determined in forming a strong partnership relationship between universities and civil society organizations in conducting joint research and projects and exchanging research and technical expertise to achieve mutual benefits. The study recommended the necessity of spreading the culture of research partnership between universities and civil society organizations by holding specialized awareness conferences and courses.
