The relationship between the internal work environment and job satisfaction among workers in health care centers in Riyadh

Abstract

The main objective of the research is to study the relationship between the internal work environment and job satisfaction among workers in health care centers in Riyadh. This objective has the following sub-objectives: identifying the level of adoption of the dimensions of the internal work environment in health care centers in Riyadh, identifying the level of job satisfaction among workers in health care centers in Riyadh, and identifying the impact of the internal work environment in achieving job satisfaction among workers in health care centers in Riyadh. The research also relied on collecting and analyzing data and information contained in Arab and foreign scientific books and periodicals related to the subject, and on reviewing previous scientific studies and theses related to the research under study. The study answered all its questions and tested all its hypotheses. The results of the research reached a statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of the internal work environment (nature and conditions of work, participation in decision-making, wages and rewards, job security and stability, social relations, the supervisor’s style of supervision, security, safety and occupational health) and job satisfaction among workers in health care centers, with a confidence level of (95%).
