Professional intervention from the perspective of general social work practice to achieve social security for elderly beggars enrolled in nursing homes
The current study seeks to achieve a main objective of testing the effectiveness of the professional intervention program from the perspective of the general practice of social work to achieve social security for elderly beggars enrolled in care homes through a set of sub-objectives: testing the effectiveness of the professional intervention program from the perspective of the general practice of social work in achieving social security for elderly beggars enrolled in care homes, testing the effectiveness of the professional intervention program from the perspective of the general practice of social work in achieving psychological security for elderly beggars enrolled in care homes, and testing the effectiveness of the professional intervention program from the perspective of the general practice of social work in achieving material security for elderly beggars enrolled in care homes. In line with the objectives of the study, this study belongs to the quasi-experimental studies pattern because it is the most appropriate type of studies to suit the nature and subject of the study, which aims to test the relationship between two variables, one of which is independent, which is the professional intervention program from the perspective of the general practice of social work, and the other is dependent, which is achieving social security for elderly beggars enrolled in care homes. The study method used the experimental method in accordance with the type of study using one experimental group. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the effectiveness of the professional intervention program from the perspective of generalist social work practice and achieving social security for elderly beggars residing in care homes as a whole, at a significance level of (0.01). The mean difference between the two measurements was (24.58), with a calculated (T) value of (39.51), which exceeds the tabulated (T) value of (2.750) at 34 degrees of freedom and a confidence level of (99%). This confirms the validity of the main hypothesis and the sub-hypotheses of the study, stating "there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the effectiveness of the professional intervention program from the perspective of generalist social work practice and achieving social security for elderly beggars as a whole residing in care homes."
